I’m not one to scream “fire,” but we are going through an economic crisis.
If you are doing just fine and feel like you don’t need to change anything, this article is not for you. Please return to your regularly scheduled programming.
Also, if you are responding to the scene, by selling or closing your business, and retiring.
In every crisis, there are winners and there are losers. There are always opportunities.
While there may be objective circumstances behind an economic crisis, it is still largely a mental phenomenon. People get discouraged, depressed, pessimistic. That is not the winning attitude.
Every pessimist prides themselves on being a realist. They are not. In every crisis, there are many opportunities, and many winners.
A large percentage of businesses need to make serious changes if they want to come out winners.
You could of course adopt the motto “this too shall pass.” The problem with that is you’re leaving it to chance, fate, providence – whatever you want to call it. In the Pandemic, some of my clients took that approach, and watched their businesses disappear.
Personally, I believe “God helps those who help themselves.”
So I’m preaching taking an aggressive approach and making – SENSIBLE – big changes.
There are many opportunities going begging right now.
It’s going to take some serious marketing to do it. If you’re up for that, we can help.
Sure, it can be scary. It’s also exciting. I for one am a big fan of nasty roller-coasters.
Who’s with me in this? It’s a lot more fun than hunkering down and hoping for the best.
