Thank you for putting your trust in thirteen05 creative for your project. Our ultimate goal is to stun you with the quality of our work and impeccable customer service.

But, we’re not the only ones with a job to do. We can’t complete the project without your help.

We need information, opinions, and answers from you to do our job. There are points where your entire project can grind to a halt because we’re waiting for more information or feedback from you. We always work hard to keep you informed on what stage your project is in, what we will need from you, and when we will need it.

Our mission is to make this process as easy as we can, but there are some things we just can’t do ourselves. Without your full participation, the project will either not get done, will take longer than expected, or not turn out like you expected.

When you start any new project, here’s what you should keep in mind:

  1. When starting a design project – whether it’s a logo, website, or print design – we need examples of what you like and what you like about them. 3 to 5 samples (and what you like about them), to be exact. Without them, we have no idea if our design is heading in the right direction. Instead of just saying “we like this logo,” make sure you include specific details like “we like the shape, and the color.” Don’t say “we like the way it pops”, or “how cheerful it looks” as these can mean a thousand different things to a thousand people.
  2. When we provide a design for review, we will present it and explain our thought process behind it. We will also tell you what isn’t done at this point. We need your specific feedback; something like “we hate the color” or “we like it but think the banner is too large,” and so on. The faster you can provide your feedback, the better. We can’t move forward in any way without it. Also, please ensure the feedback is endorsed by all decision-makers.
  3. We will often require specific information or file formats. For example, if you’re sending over an existing logo, we will need this in usable form as early in the project as possible. Copies of existing website files, logins to domain registration and domain registration accounts are normal requirements in website development. In print design, we need art specs including design templates where available.
  4. Internet marketing programs work much better when you can provide us information such as demographic information about buyers, what products or services are most profitable or which you are trying to promote, potential keywords, logins to Google accounts, etc.
  5. For design projects, we need content – this may include verbiage, images, video and more. If you are too busy, we can help.

Remaining an engaged participant in our project is beneficial to all parties involved. We want you to be proud of the finished product, and feel like you made a wise investment – and we want to show off our work. Please be listening and helping, so we can exceed your standards!
