The client
Steinway has been the most pretigious piano brand in the world for over 100 years, used by a majority of Eaarth’s greatest pianists, schools and organizations. And Steinway Piano Gallery is THE exclusive authorized Steinway Piano distributor in the Tampa Bay area and has been for over 25 years – one of only some 50 such dealers in the U.S.
Since its founding in Clearwater in 1998, Gallery has occupied a prestigious position in the Tampa Bay piano world. It supplies pianos to the University of Southern Florida and many other schools and organizations in the area. They have their own recital hall on premises and regularly put on concerts with well-known artists.
thirteen05 creative has handled their online efforts for more than 12 years – website design, development and hosting, management and internet marketing.
A NEW WEBSITE
Then called “Music Gallery of Clearwater”, they first came to us in 2011 for help with their online presence, which they felt did not properly represent them. At that time their existing website was on a minor and dying platform. We re-did the site in WordPress and we have re-created or upgraded their website several more times as technology and fashions have changed and as they have expanded their operations. Recently they opened a second location, in Tampa and this necessitated considderable changes to the website and online marketing efforts.
Their current website is extensive and closely matchese Steinway’s corporate branding.
More recently we also developed a second website for them to assist in a charity program to help get new and better (Steinway of course) pianos into schools around the Tampa Bay area.
HOSTING & MAINTENANCE
We have hosted their websites since we first re-did that obsolete site in 2011. As such we have kept their site online and functioning at a high level. Through our tech support link on our website, we regularly make minor edits and changes to the website at their request and deal with any issues as they arise.
INTERNET MARKETING
We have also been doing their online marketing for almost as long as we’ve hosted their site. We have worked on their search rankings to a point where they consistently show up on the top of Google for almost any imaginable search terms over a wide area of central Florida.
We also established and maintain their Google Business Profiles (formerly Googl My Business) which is the local, map listing and they have long completely dominated throughout Pinellas County. Now, with their second location in Tampa, we created and manage a second Google Business Profile which has been generating leads for them since the first week we created it.
We also run Google (paid) ads on keywords and in locations not reachable with Organic or Local listings. This includes marketing to people searching for competing brands, used pianos and in some geographical areas outside Tampa Bay proper and as far away as Ocala.
Overall, it is hard to look for quality pianos online in Central Florida and NOT find Steinway Piano Gallery.
